Charles Mather was a civil engineer who worked on the railroad from Moscow, ID to Boville, ID in the early 1900s. Album contains about 100 black and white photographs.

Photographs depict a train ride from St. Maries, Idaho, to Missoula, Montana on the Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul and Pacific Railroad (also known as the Milwaukee Road).
